If you’re ready to join the ranks of successful entrepreneurs and have a solid stream of passive income, then this is for you! Keep reading, and be sure to stick around until the end for a way to boost your business even more!

Turning Tragedy Into Triumph

Angela’s story isn’t an easy one. After returning home from the military, a sudden death left her in charge of her two nephews. This new responsibility left the military veteran struggling for funds, and she knew she had to do something different.

She turned to the lift of an entrepreneur, and she used her military service as the backbone to start a business.

Becoming a Butterfly

Angela thinks of her journey as a caterpillar emerging from a cocoon.

Originally, she got her MBA and worked in research. For some time, this worked for her. She could pay for what she needed, and she had a stable life. However, when her nephews joined her, she realized that she needed to earn more.

Her entrepreneurship led her to us, and she began to learn as much as she could. She studied hard, and she applied everything she knew to her efforts.

She started her own small business, and things grew from there.

Taking the Plunge

Eventually, Angela realized that it was time for her to move on. She took the plunge and trusted in herself. She knew that she had the experience necessary to become a successful entrepreneur, and she quit her job to take on the business full time.

So, how did she do it?

Be Bold and Brave

One of Angela’s biggest life lessons was learned in the military.

In the military, you have to be brave. You need to have confidence in yourself, your teammates, and your skills. Angela took this lesson to heart early on, and she realized that this confidence can bleed into the business world.

She told us a story about meeting some of the Blue Angels.

While she was hesitant at first, she realized that both sides had things to teach each other. She may not have the same level of experience as the Blue Angels, but she had plenty of personal lessons that they hadn’t experienced themselves!

Be Persistent

Another major military lesson that has helped Angela run a successful business is perseverance. Both business owners and military members need to be willing to persevere. Angela notes that her efforts weren’t always successful. Sometimes, she failed.

That’s okay!

The important thing is that she picked herself up and tried again. That’s how Angela founded her business, and it’s how she says every other small business owner needs to think.

Don’t think of your failures as shortcomings. Instead, frame them as learning experiences. Every time Angela failed, she realized that it was because of something that she did wrong. She retraced her steps, pinpointed the problem, and dusted herself off. Then, she would try again!

In business, everything is about the long haul. You can’t expect to become a millionaire overnight. It takes time to build the foundation of a successful business, and it’s up to you to work on it.

Learn from your mistakes! Every failure is a learning opportunity, and Angela’s number one tip is to embrace those moments. Figure out what went wrong and remember it. Remember what you did, and remind yourself not to give up, even when things seem hopeless!
